Where and when around maple ridge can i catch 14+ inch rainbows or cutthroat trout

rolley lake, mike lake ,whonnock lake are all stocked with rainbows averaging 12 in but ive caught lots of 14 and a few 15 or 16. All three lakes were really productive up til about the middle of july when it got really hot but should be good now that its cooled down quite a bit. You wont have much luck until spring time for cutties so dont bother fishing the aloutte til then, There isnt much of a resident rainbow population.

Thanks for the replay! And Yeah I've fished rolley lake a month or so ago and caught a 14 inch rainbow but the man beside me caught a 16! I fish the alouette a lot for the residential rainbows but not too many big ones. I was also wondering about cutthroat, are they never residential? Do they just follow the food(chum)? where do people always catch the big river trout?!?!

i think there are a few resident cutties but not sure. I do know that the ones in the spring are the sea runs. The chum run from oct to dec which is months before they show up.
