I assume you are fishing for sockeye?
I've seen a couple of families bring coolers and chairs. I recommend a sun umbrella and mosquito repellent.
Most important would be having someone to watch them. If they arn't fishing, it'd get boring really fast, and the heat can be too much. You might not get a lot of fishing done if you're busy getting them to stay put or looking after them. There are a lot of long leaders and a lot of fisherman casting.

WHEN THE WATER IS LOW ENOUGH, MY FRIEND BRINGS HIS SON TO PEG LEG ON THE SANDY PORTION. THEN THERE IS THE OPTION OF PLAYING WITH TRUCKS, BUILDING SAND CASTLES, GETTING MUDDY... BUT YEAH, KEEP AN EYE OUT STILL. IF THEY FALL IN THE WATER TEHY'RE IN BIG TROUBLE. I JUST MAKE MY NIECE WEAR HER LIFE JACKET EVERYTIME I TAKE HER FISHING. LOOKS LIND OF DORKY, BUT HEY, AT LEAST SHE'LL FLOAT.

Stop yelling BEEFEATER. How about you read these rules about forum etiquette, concentrate on rule number 4. http://www.ehow.com/how_2106033_use-proper-forum-etiquette.html

THE MORE YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT IT THE MORE I'M GONNA KEEP TALKING.
IF YOU TAKE YOUR KID WAY UP AROUND THE BEND, THERE IS A SKELETON FOR YOUR KIDS TO LOOK AT. I FOUND IT NEAR A LOG. IT IS BY THE WATER NOW (IF NOBODYS MOVED IT IN THE LAST TWO DAYS). IT IS PRETTY NEAT. A LOT OF PEOPLE STOPPED TO HAVE A LOOK WHEN I WAS UP THERE. IT IS NOT GROSS OR ANYTHING. IT IS ALL DRIED MUD AND BONES. ITS NOT OFTEN YOU GET TO SEE A SKELETON THAT SIZE

I'M NOT SURE. I COULDNT FIND A SKULL. IT WAS ABOUT 3 FEET LONG. IT WAS A SPINE (WITH BONES AS BIG AROUND AS MY FIST), A LOT OF RIBS, AND A PELVIS. LOODS WRONG TO BE A HUMAN. MY BEST GUESS IS THAT MAYBE IT WAS A DEER?

I can never understand how these 9 year old threads get dredged up, but under no circumstances should a child be wearing the manual inflate life jacket (with the pull tab) as shown in the picture. Children should wear an appropriate sized PFD made from high buoyancy foam, not one that manually or auto inflates with CO2.
