You know sometimes you see something you want, like a fly pattern, and you can't find the right stuff, and you can't be bothered to wait till you can get the material and you use the nearest thing. Well this was the result. I am new to fly tying but if I were a fish, I would go for this. It needs a name.

I'll try it tomorrow and see what happens.............

Well the only fish I caught was on this fly and I tried several, all had inquiries. "Damsel in Distress" is the name I have chosen.

i never thought i was going to agree with you but......it is ugly!!! the ugliest fly in my box caught a nice trout the other day though so.......
