Topic: how do i find nickleplate lake? |

It is located Northeast of Hedley BC. There is a road that goes from Hedley to the lake, according to the BC Fishing Directory and Atlas.Hope this helps

Once you go past Hedley a couple of miles, keep a sharp eye out for an uphill road on your left that directs you to the Nickleplate Mine. This is also the road to the lake. It is quite a few miles of bumpy gravel road. you might be better off going to Apex Ski Hill out of Penticton and driving in from there. Longer but a better road. Great Rainbow fishing and very little fishing pressure. Belly boat is perfect. Good Luck...

i agree, going up Apex out of penticton is a lot easier...that other mine road can be pretty messy sometimes specially after a good rain

look for the little white church on your right a couple K's east out of Headly...the next goat path to the left is your turn...its marked...

hey everyone.thanks for the info on directions to nickleplate lake.i,m headed back to peru and chile to complete my month of work so hopefully november is nice when i come back and i can get out fishing again.tightlines to everyone.
