my assumption that this rain will add water to that poor river didn't work, but still managed to see a few fish around. most are rather dark and silver ones are very spooky - hard to entice them into biting. best bet is to hike all the way to the main river across from hatchery. anyway that's the end of the season there. lot's of dead chums - not the best time to introduce fainthearted to fishing...

ah , so theres still some silvers there , good i might be there next weekend , but definatly the chehalis is done for the most part . was there alot of people fishing troutfan?
