the best of all time is just a hook and worm. If your are trolling put your hook and worm 2 feet behind a gang troll and have fun. Or use some fly's

Kamlopers always work well. I find the bait has to very depending on the fish. Wild fish vs. Stocked, does make a diffrence. Worms are always a good fall back plan. I've found that trout fishng in BC is very diffrent from that in Alberta. Growing up we always used white fish minnow, untill they banned those then a black and silver rapala took their place. With rainbows willow leafs with a rainbow pattern rapala 6"-10" behind, always killed them while trolling. Latley i've have picked up a couple good size trout while fishing for salmon in the Vedder on a size 4 hook and yarn tipped with small bits of roe.

black leech with a gold bead head. works all season in all interior lakes. 2nd favourite is dew worms
RH361

Dew worm on double hook set behind #6 Gibbs. A little cool on the lake yesterday but managed to pick up a nice 17" Bow at 10 feet off the lakerigger.I saw a few shore fisherman early in the morning pick up a couple. Too far to ask but I'm guessing they were using Power Bait. Never tried that style,(bottom fishing). Must work O.K. and if you don't have a boat.
