Author Topic: Chum in the Vedder

Hey guys/gals, im not sure who cares but there are a few chum in the vedder now and way to many whites LOL. Guy next to me got a 10 Lbs. female chum this morning.

Are the chum worthwhile to keep though? Maybe for roe, most I've seen look disgusting...

their pretty much all colored up by the time they reach the vedder or even freshwater, try fishing creek mouth that drain into the ocean. Or try the squamish.

Rodney from fishing with rod doesn't mind keeping boot fish, just like he kept a boot chum and a spawner spring the other day, he even was proud enough to show it to his members.

What's a good spot on the Vedder River and/or Canal these days?

huh let me see a good spot on the vedder..... Anywhere where there is no people.

that's what I like to hear! Does this go for the chanel as well or just the river?

Hey Hook, stay out of the canal. It has not been good. some great places are the CNN bridge, above the Vedder crossing, and as always Tamihi
