Just return from Charlie lake, fishing was awesome... Walleyes and pikes just crazy close to shore, released all of them. Just keep some for tastful dinner:-) Picture is showing what you can have there easily. Used a jig, color doesn't matter... But yellow for walleye and pink for pikes works best. Anytime during the day, best results early morning or late afternoon. You will have tons as displayed.

We do this trip every year, we like campground and people there. Fantastic fishing and we are away from Vancouver and Victoria chaos for a few days. We always release fish, just keep some(couple of them) for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Late catch, so you can get much bigger before. But it is our rule. And we never keep big one like 6-8 pounders pikes... Should be back in the lake for future generations:-) Fishing there is easy accessible and thats why we have really good time every year. We are heading there in September again.
