Author Topic: motor restrictions

where can one get info on local lower mainland lakes and those up to about hope on motor size restrictions? Can one use a motor at Bunzten lake? thanks.

You're only allowed electric motors (or the ones you were born with, IE. muscles) on Buntzen. I would recommend that you pickup a copy of the "Freshwater Fishing Synopsis", otherwise known as "the regs", nearly all the info that you NEED TO KNOW regarding this and numerous other details about fishing particular pieces of water in BC is listed there. If you are fishing without knowing the the rules you will end up in trouble if you run into a CO (conservation officer).

Tight lines

Thanks for the info. I will pick up a copy today.

sailing is allowed
