I live in Langley and wonder if anyone knows any lake within 1.5 hours with good fishing. I am going tomorrow afternoon and evening. Thanks for the help.

folley lake is good for trout, but i warn u the shore is extremely rugged but the road follows the one shore, it is near the military base in the vedder area. alouette is good but you really need a boat. silvermere lake is right by the lougheed where the stave flows into the fraser, lots of bass in there, but the shore is ALL private, the only acess is in fact the side of the lougheed.

Thanks. I do have a boat. Is the launch at Foley Lake still there? Have you heard anything on Silverhope?

i heard a month ago that another large boulder had been placed blocking you from driving directly to folley, i figure about 10 minute walk tops.

HI Guys. We went to Jones Lake 8/13/07. Fished from 4:30 till 8:30. We got 10 in the boat, lost 4 at the boat, and shook hands with 5 other. It was a beautiful evening. Willowleaf with a red wedding band ans a worm or just a weeding band and worm. I pulled around a pinkish minnow and only had 1 hit. It was fun. The Ospreys were sucessful too!!
