Author Topic: Rolley lake mission

Hello, just wondering if anyone has caught fish in this nice little lake.If so on what, and can you use an electric trolling motor on this lake?

on the far shore from the beach there are tonnes of spots to cast from shore. use float with bobber stopper with egg weight and hook with cooked shrimp ($4 at safeway). Landed lots of nice ones. cloudy evenings/mornings work best.

i usualy float egg singles, these fish see ALOT of flys in a year. every fly ive tryed didnt work.

I was at Rlley this morning...along with (and I counted) three others on the water an 18 fishing from shore. Not a bite or anything today. Water is warm and the fish are down at the bottom. Fishing with a fly is a waste of time IMO. Wedding band and worms work for me. Just not today.

Try a beadhead olive bunnie leatch on a sinktip with a slow slow strip its worked for me before or mosquitos on a calm warm evening just at last light.
