Has anyone ever tried fishing carp in burnaby lake, central park, or deer lake ?

I have also been wondering about this latley. Seeing more and more about Carp being caught on the fly in fishing mags. I have heard rumours of carp reaching 20 lbs in Burnaby lake...

I haven't tried fly fishing for them but I did try some stink bait and got 3 in 4 hours. @ 20lbs. Try the south side of the lake near the middle. Look for feeding channels, watch yer bobber & be ready for a battle. They may be ugly but the're strong. GL
