The trout

Hey to all, I live in Poco and am woundering about the closest place to find steelhead, Is the Stave fishable and how tough is the sheilias, what about thed Vedder???
Info would be greatly appreicaited, I'm nubey to steelhead

you will find steelhead and salmon in the chehalis, stave and vedder. note chehalis access is limited and in some cases hazardous, water in that canyon can rise within hours.

Steelies are known as the fish of a thousand casts....patience is essential. The Vedder is closed, Stave won't interest 'em soooooo Chehalis would be my pick. Park on the East side of the bridge & hike into the canyon for a relaxing time in one of natures gems. As stated B4 watch the water level. I've seen it rise 2 feet in a short time. tight lines & sore arms...

lol i thought the fish of a thousand casts was the musky...

musky can actually be very agressive feeders, its finding them thats dificult.
The trout

thx u guys
