where when and with what
bass master 99

park at ambleside and walk to the bridge, go to the mouth,
cast out spoon as far as you can into the ocean and retrive it towards the river. you can go pretty much now till later june and then in the fall, september, october and early november
fishinforlife

What do you use and have you evr caught any
fishinforlife

are they in during july and august

Go to the base of the Lion's Gate bridge, on an incoming high tide try Buzz bombs or big spoons. Cast way out & let it sink for a few seconds....Use a medium fast retrieve, when u feel a bump, set the hook. The best time to go there is when the local natives are pushing full shopping carts. No kidding, one young brave named Benji filled one in 20 minutes. I watched it happen.

under the bridge and on that side is indian terriotory how do u get there
fisher 696

It's too hard to explain, but if u have Google Earth u should be able to see the route. The Indian land is on the West side and I believe ends @ half way out on the East side. I have always been treated well by the people I have met there. It can be frustrating however 'cuz the fishing techniques used are a lot less sporting. However do not make an issue out of it. By law those are their fish, the government started the hatchery when they built the Dam. This was to ensure that the natives would ALWAYS have a food source and be able to maintain their traditional ways.

you catch lots their are they there now
bass master 99

you can catch quite a bit and they are there just they are all tiny hatchery fish, but there are springs as well and they can grow pretty big, the coho average 1-2lbs with the odd 5lber and sometimes 7-10lber.
fishinforlife

what kind of spoon/lure/setup does everyone use to catch stuff there
bass master 99

it doesn't really matter, as long as it has good movement that appeals to them
fishinforlife

wheres that holding area with all the fish
fishinforlife

is it good to go now or later because the river is still raging
stink finger

the best thing to do is go there and fish youll probably answer most of you own questions
fishinforlife

I have fished there like 10 times and caught nothing and kinda pissed because people say theres tons of fis there
fisher 696

Fish there when the natives r there
fishinforlife
