What is it?

The biggest fish I've caught at Albert Dick was 12". I've caught hundreds there on a green jig with a yellow head. They're great fun in the summer!

O ya right on. Any of you guys use spinner baits often?

The best color for bass is definately shartreuse green, although most light greens and yellows are the best colors are the best, My most successful lure for bass is deffinately the mepps aglia plain shartreuse size 4. In Ontario ive caught hundreds of fish with it

Mepps "Black Fury" #3 is a great spinner to use; a "Walley Diver" crankbait that looks like a little perch works awesome; a "Hula Popper" that looks like a frog works well for Largemouth Bass; and I think the best bait/lure for Smallmouth Bass are live Leeches, or Crayfish. Rapala makes great lures for bass; and that guy who suggested Jigs is right - Jigs always work well for either species of bass (I like the white, yellow, green/chartreuse colours myself).

i just like the old stand by curly tail grub, it works every where and can even pick off a few trout in the area. for flies i like a natural coloured popper, it works at vaseax really well, ass well at st. mary's lake on saltspring.

I'd say my fav "lure" for bass would be a 3 inch floating Rapala...haven't fished gear in years...but when I did...the Rap always won the day....YMMV..)

A yellow and silver panther martin! The best!

I was salyin them the ohther day @ walsmly on 4" black and blue tubes w/ reh flecks, on the opposite side from the plant

Ya, those are probably one of my favorite tubes, in the summer i usually move from the 4" tube to the 2.5" it forces them to hit harder.

i must say i love the firetiger colored rattalin rapala

Ya can never go wrong with rapalas, i like the x-rap, very agressive life like lure
