The lake is 43 degrees now and the Rainbows are starting to rise. caught 3 fish this weekend, all around 17 to 18" range. Not much fight yet as the ice has only been totally off for one week.

Give it one more week and the hatches should be starting and it will be Chrony time!

Where is this lake. Can you run gas or electric motors?

Osprey Lake is just outside of Princeton and you can run gas or electric. There is also a small forestry campsite on the lake. (can be quite busy)
The B&B looks way more inviting.

Oh my, I think I will go there this summer!

Osprey Lake has a motor restriction to 10 hp so most people use electric or just row. There are two boat launches, one on the west end (Princeton end) right in front of my B&B and the other one is close to the Summerland end in the forestry campground.
