Author Topic: Loon Lake

Hello, We are going to Loon Lake in mid June and I'm just wondering how the fishing is in June. We will be trolling.Having never fished there any suggestions on what to use?
bass master 99

fill you be fly fishing or coffe grinding? on the fly the best thing to use is a spratley bar none, i've landed some alright ones there but none bigger than 4lbs

Big lake, try wooly buggers, Spratly's and Cary's if flyfishing. If using gear try yellow flatfish with red dots, Frog pattern, or wedding bands.

Don't stay at loon lake resort if you can help it. It is an S**t hole and they are A**es.

Watch out for the wind, it can be quite the pain At this lake.

ive been fishing at loon lake near casche creek for years and ive found that the very best thing to use is trolling a flatfish or hotshot or troll a black or green sprately fly.

the colors of flatfish and hotshots that are good are green frogs.

stay at evergreen fishing resort ..... there very good in there.
