Im looking for the hot spots for prawns around Victoria

There is a great spot between Mayne Island and Pender Island. You will need a good sounder and find the shelf at the west end of the entrance to the straight between the Islands. Once you found the shelf follow it until it drops off from about 80' and drops sharply to around 300'. We have caught many great Prawns at this spot. Be careful though, the current WILL take your traps into deeper water if you don't put lots of weight into them.
