What a dummy. Type the topic and forget the message.
Well I'm heading up to try fishing in Harrison Lake tommorrow. Go soak in the rain for a bit. I'm taking my trap to try for some crayfich too. I'll report back and let you all know how it was....besides wet!

You a duck or a seal? I moved here from Edmonton cuz I was tired of the long winters and short summers but I am not sure this is much of an improvement. Come on sunshine!!

just wait until april then bang! the trout will come alive and the late steelies will be active and it will be the peak of the steelhead season on the squamish river.

We're going for cut/bow. We have been surprised with a dolly befor but we're fishing some fairly shallow water.
And just for the record, I'm a duck.

Well, the virdict is in. It was wet. We didn't catch a damn thing with rod or trap. I think the rain was a big factor. All the creeks and rivers flowing into the Harrison in the area we were fishing were swollen raging mud flows. We saw 1 charter jet boat in the area and a couple other fishers came in though the day and we didn't see any of them get anything either. On the way out we stopped and threw a few casts into woods lake. Hooked a few there but nothing of any size. Oh well. At least we weren't sitting around the house letting the cabin fever take over.
