Author Topic: The New Guy

I recently moved to the lower mainland, got tired of the long winters and short summers in central Alberta.I am familiar with the Okanagan/Shuswap, was raised there, but fishing here is going to be a new experience. I'm really looking forward to trying the Fraser and Vedder and am wide open to suggestions.

Welcome back to B.C. I fish the southern okanangan quite alot so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

E mail me and i will give you some inside info. I am a flyfishing teacher and i can give you some tips.

tight line & fun times

Thanks for the offers. I have a fly rod but have not used it much, never developed the patience to learn LOL. I usually spin cast.

is there like some pattern you gotta follow to get that perfect fly cast?

Practice, practice, Practice. There is not much else i can say. As i said i am a flyfishing instructor and it is hard to teach over the net or e-mail.

Take a class on casting through myself or someone else and then practice.
