I was in Whistler a couple of years ago & had good success trolling the Savage Beagle. I was using a 6 inch pink wiggly. Worked gr8. Good luck.

upper cheakmus is doing pretty well right now for dollies and the odd bow and cut. Go to the whistler fly shop on main street, great people and great service. they'lle tell you where is good and what to use.

do u know how the ice is at cheakamus lake?

Not thick enough. When the ice melts off in the spring go to ivey lake north of mount currie. Huge 10lbs. off leechs and i think there are mays and caddises there as well. its fly only though and catch and release. Some huge fish though. The only winter fisherie up in whistler I know about is all the rivers that are mentioned on the sit i mentioned above and maybe a few lakes that freeze over.
