suposidly in the news a man fishing on the vedder drowned a couple days ago. Just making a post to commemorate a fellow fisherman who was so dedicated that he even fished when the fishing wasn't good and a flood was happening(not to mention a bit nutty). Is there anyone else who would like to comment on our comrade?

As you said:"Just making a post to commemorate a fellow fisherman".

My condolences to his familly from the bottom of my hart.

Truly a tragedy to say the least. My heart goes out to his family. This shows the importance of fishing with buddies, and that fishing should be fun not dangerous. We can all learn a lesson here, BE CAREFUL.No fish is worth your life.

Yes it was very sad. Reports are it was an older gentleman with slipped in the river and got carried away. We must all remember to be careful this time of year with the unstable river banks. And once again my condolences to his family. Stay safe everyone.

R.I.P...tight lines n Sharphooks!!
