Is this just due to the commercial boats or is the run coming to an end?

there's still lots of fish in the ocean so i would think the fishin is due to the commercial openings i think it usually closes after the long weekend

No plans to close sockeye anytime soon according to the local sources... just keep on bouncing!

They do come up river in large groups, you likely just hit a lull. I nailed a 7 pounder last week.

thanks for the info, I will most likley be going in the next couple days so hopefully I dont hit another lull.
