Colorado Chad

Hey guys,

Up from Colorado again to Surrey area. I was hoping to give the Sockeyes a run on the Fraser. I'll be up here until the 14th of August. Any help on bars that would be good for a DIY type guy would be appreciated.

Also, what are you guys using for the springs? How about the Sockeyes?

Take care

Spinin'Glows or wool will do for both. Sockeye season has not started in non-tidal Fraser waters, but you can catch and retain up to four Socks from Mission bridge downstream. They will be opening Sockeye further upstream later this week, I hope.

Tight lines!

I guess you are good for Sockeys in non-tidalwaters too!

for sockeye i sugest a 14 foot leader 3/0 hook and a two or three ounce bouncin betty the longer the leader the better this is only for the fraser as its mucky , any color of wool is good cause they cant see it any way not real fishin but great on the barbie.just finished my first one.
