Author Topic: Fishing Good at Weaver lake!

Despite hot air and water temperatures, fishing for rainbow trout at Weaver Lake was great. In 2 hours of fishing we had 5 trout around 11 inches, all were released except 1 which was missing an eye???? It was really wierd, birth defect maybe??? Anyways we used a black wedding band with a piece of worm attached and trolled around. Did wonders!

Anything with size?

There were a few larger fish jumping every once in a while and my fishing bud had what looked to be a larger fish on. It unhooked itself on the way in, lol. Fish finder was picking up some bigger fish at around 15 feet of water. None in the boat though.
