Hey guys, i'm making the trip down to fish the fraser around island 22 in the fraser and want to anchor in the middle of the fraser somewhere to try fishing. How big of an anchor will i need and where would i find one? Thanks,

Not sure of the wieght.But i also have a 12ft alluiminum boat and i picked mine up from hub sports.(abbotsford)The biggest one they had. They should be able to help you out! if you get the right one there should be two eyes to tie your line,i would advise to get 6-10ft of chain.Put the chain on the bottom eye attach with a small shackle,Then run the chian up the neck to the top eye,at the top eye attach a zap strap(chain to the eye)This will help i case it gets snagged on something the zap strap will break making it easeir to retrive.Then attach your float line to the top of the chain make some eye knots in the float line too attach it to the bow of your boat,With a karabeener.pick one up at revy.
Maybe want some sort of float in case you need to drop and fight!

Oh yeah i dont know about anchoring in the middle of the fraser is such a good idea!lol stick closer to the shore still some nice cottonwoods coming down the middle!
