I was just wondering what to use at chehalis lake cause im going up there in the near future.

I've only fished it twice but had a terrible time catching anything. That seems to be consistent with other people I have talked to who have also fished that lake.

i've been there....long trek up that logging road. if your gonna catch anything its gonna be at the crack of dawn. we nailed 3 dolly varden within the first hour and after that nothing.plus we had to deal with fresh bear footprints on the shore. my advise....not worth your time for fishing.

whaddaya mean? any time you toss a line in the drink it's worth fishing....I mean a sh*^%ty day of fishing beats a good day at work anytime (to quote a bumper-sticker) lol

I think ur right
My friend just told me that he caught 3 trout in five minutes but he was up pretty early(7 am)
All I need 2 no is what to use.

Hey el nino
we were catching little bows at the river mouth all day.
and all we were using were worms.
also we would have someone with a snorkel mask looking at all the little fish.
Hopes this helps anyone for the next time there up at chehalis.
Oh ya and use more than one worm at once. They fall off
and a small hook

I was up there on the last long weekend! it was kinda hot so the fishing was horrible. how ever later on in the day say around 7 there was lot of rises near the mouth of the river. Id suggest flyfishing lots of sedges there
