Hey there. My name is Brad and I'm from Ontario. I'm going to visit relatives in Penticton in June for holidays. I will be fishing the Rotary fishing durby in the okanagan lake, as well as nearby rivers/lakes. I am wondering what kind of fishing rods? (light/med/heavy) line? lures? etc. would be used? What kind of fish are there? Any kind of info would be greaty appreciated as I have never been to BC!
As well, any info on what to check out there other then fishing would be great as well.

Sorry guys, I should be specific. I only have spinning rods/reels. I'm not into fly fishing at all. Although, I know its the thing to do in BC.
