Author Topic: Who's been saltwater fly fishing? The Tropics

52 hours fishing in the last 6 days and 2 bones on the bedpost. Other species aswell but nothing like a sightfished bone smashing the fly. The monsters still allure me. I Will Be back.

Agreed, pound for pound there is nothing like the fishing for bone fish. It's not a cheap experience but one you will never forget, unlike sitting around a pool or on a beach all day.

My first experience was in Ascension Bay, on the east coast of Mexico, just below Playa Del Carmen. Not the biggest bones but plenty of them.
