Anyone caught any fish (salmon, sturgeon) off Riverfront Park (south Victoria Drive)? I've gone fishing for coho a fair bit off the North Arm recently with no luck... starting to get real discouraged.

You may have better luck at nearby Foreshore Park

Unless you're trying to catch pikeminnow, it's not very productive. I live right on the river near there and have caught sturgeon further west across from Mitchell Island, but it's hit and miss. North arm is generally more productive near high tide for sturgeon and on incoming tide for salmon. I usually go down to the pier at foreshore park for sturgeon, I'll probably be there Wednesday evening. The Richmond side of the river across from there is much better for salmon,they follow the shoreline on that side. I've never caught a salmon on lures in the north arm even when they are rolling right in front of me. Bar fishing bait works really well for coho and will be open in a week.
