Are you allowed to use electric motors on Whonnock lake? I've read online multiple people say you are not allowed to use any motors. but I was there yesterday and say numerous people trolling around with motors.

Fishing regulations states "No powered boats", which means gas AND electric trolling motors. I have seen the odd boat in there with a gas motor though, people who had something to do with the rowing club or whatever it is that they have there.

Is there a reason they don't allow electric motors? or are they just trying to be difficult
