I was rewarded by a dear friend with a day of sturgeon fishing. It was unbelievable. I did get some photos but refused to drag the magnificent beasts to shore for photos. My day ended with me totally wore out! The largest of the day was 6 1/2 feet estimated by our guide, Steve, I also landed a 5 1/2 foot monster plus 2 4 footers and a couple smaller. My partner got 2 over 5 feet. A remarkable day I will never forget.

im glad you enjoyed it , it`s kinda cheating tho from the boat more fun from shore ))) and sizes are "average" for tidal fraser , although guys (oldtimers and everyday fishing sturgeon) claim that biggest one was 9 feet .. By the way you didn`t mention where exactly you fished just wondering ...

I caught my 2 biggest ones not far from the mouth of the Vedder,
Sometime you can show me how much fun it is from shore.
