Author Topic: fish identity

Hey everyone, i caught these two fish back in august at lickman road on the vedder, Catch and release because i was not sure if i could keep them, so they were in the water the whole time and released carefully....just wondering if anyone could help me identify them?

Hard to tell from those pics, but looks like young steelhead.
Was there any adipose?I can't tell

They were hatchery, clipped adipose

Steelhead Smolt

If you can't identify fish you shouldn't be fishing!!!!!

This is why I don't post on here anymore, the fish never left the water cutfisher, so keep your mouth shut. As for others thank you for the advice. I thought it was maybe a juvenile steely or a jack coho

cutfisher, learn to read and also learn to keep your mouth shut when you have nothing intelligent to say.
