has anyone been out to the squamish to fish for chums....they are great smoked and one hell of a lot of fun to fight if your there at the right time. Id like to head out there tomorrow so if u have any news please feel free.

CALLED THE TACKLE SHOP AND THEY SAID THE CHUMS ARE IN.SOME COHO AS WELL.RIVER CONDITIONS DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF RAIN THE AREA RECIEVES. BAIT BAN ON THE SQUAMISH SYSTEM, ALLOWED 2 CHUMS, 1 HATCHERY COHO, NO SPRINGS.

Just got back from flying @ the Squamish. Fished 2 hours before and 1.5 hrs after the 12:30 high tide.Very,very slow. Saw only 2 fish rise and hooked a boot male chum. A spey rodder hooked and lost 1 @ the beach and a seal caught 1 too. That was it.
Would suggest waiting at least 1 more week.
