all realeased to fight another fight....great day with many fish but bad pics for the most part as tough to get when fishing solo wanting a quick safe release. Largest bull of the day was around 10lb and biggest cutty was 23" so maybe 4-5Lb.

Putting my Xmas gag gift to use. That rod was ridiculous, but made this one feel like a 4lb'er!

I'm making an assumption that this wild fish was released after the picture. I'm not a flamer or a hater, and that's a beauty cutthroat, but you gotta help me understand why it's OK to pose a wild fish, that is going to be released, out of the water on the grass for a picture.

My perspective is that it is irrespnsible for anglers who are fishing alone to take pics of fish, that that they are about to release, and where the fish has to be posed out of the water.

If this fish was caught in a body of water where it is legal to retain wild ct, then ignore what I said!

But that's just me. It's a beauty ct and I hope you catch many more! Cheers.

My son and I hit the Similkameen River 2 weeks ago, What a hard fish! River was in great shape, In two days only one fish Used every thing but the kitchen sink!!!!! Now I'm thinking I should have used it!!!!! Pink maggots and white ones, meal worms, single eggs(rubber and natural)Small spinners. Must have made over a 1000 drifts and only one hit and one fish.

Good on ya for pointing out possible harm done to wild, or any fish for that matter for picture sake and heck, even poachers could use a bonk.

Regulations are in effect for a reason, and if anyone else was wondering, only way this would be a terrible pic would be if I were in a stream, and/or if I released this fish.

The mrs, kids and myself enjoyed this beaut, and I've caught many, not quite this size tho :p in a non stream.

Thx for the post tho to make other anglers think about it.
