I have been fishing this lake many times with dismal luck. I can go anywhere on the lake as my boat can handle any waves thrown at it. I have a slow electric trolling motor also. I really could use some tudoring in fishing this lake. My son and I are frustrated with the lack of production. Pls help. Would even be interested in having you join us on our boat if needed or just fish along side of each other. Fairly new to fishing and the various techniques used to get dinner. Thanks again..

It's a bit early for Alouette yet, but it's a pretty productive lake. I get lots of luck using a wedding band with worm/corn behind a dodger down around 15 feet. But lots of kokanee and trout can be caught closer to the surface as well. Small dick nights, some flys and willow leaf trolls work well too. Maybe try the east side across from the boat launch and troll in about 100' of water down to the fish pens and back.

I'll probably start fishing there closer to April and may have room in my boat if ya want to come along some time.

Please do not use corn does not digest well for trout.

While trout don't digest corn well, it does not cause death, apparently:
