Anyone have any info on the The Similkameen River?

I'm going up March 12 2015 and fish for the whitefish .I'm going to float fish the river, And toss the odd lure.

I've been told to fish Bromley Rock and the red bridge. Other then that I have no clue

Is it to early or to late and so on?

Thank you

make sure you find someone who knows the answer before wasting the trip. The run off is very early although there might not be much to melt down that way. right now in the Chase area all the creeks are fast and dirty, something that doesn't normally happen for another month.

Thank you for the heads up cagey! I sure will.

What a hard fish! River was in great shape, In two days only one fish Used every thing but the kitchen sink!!!!! Now I'm thinking I should have used it!!!!! Pink maggots and white ones, meal worms, single eggs(rubber and natural)Small spinners. Must have made over a 1000 drifts and only one hit and one fish.
