Author Topic: Vancouver Island Fishing Charter Question!

Hey guys, my dad and I finally have an opportunity to take a fishing charter on Vancouver Island for some salmon/halibut/ling. I am guessing closer to September would be the best time to go? How heavily is the fishing influenced by the season, and what are some good charters out there? Any recommendations?
Thanks

two that i have been to that i really like, but don't fish well for hali's is moutcha bay resort, and painters lodge. If you go to painters lodge make sure you ask for Russ Lim, fish seem to jump onto his boat. Times are different for what ever type of fish you are going for, if you call the resorts they will let you know when there peak season is, you will pay more for it though.
