Has anybody been up to weaver recently....I had heard that there was a log blocking the road somewhere on the lower part of the road, and don't want to waist my time driving there if I can't get through.

Was at Weaver on Saturday. Good fishing, decent weather and no logs or any other debree blocking your access. Will see if I can post some pics of the fish we caught later, in the meantime have fun and tight lines.

Darn...I didn't want to drive there and find the road blocked, so I just went to Sayers Lake....One little fish on the line for the effort.

So their not biting all that well in Sayer? That sucks, that was supposed to be my next stop on the list of lakes for the fall. What were you using?

Sayers Lake has been getting progressivly harder to fish in the last few years. I dont know why but I ahavent heard any good reports out of there for at least 2 years now... I'd skip it and go fish Florence instead. It's up the road a ways but worth the extra drive time

This was the first time I had been to Sayers in a couple of years...I have had a couple of nice ones out of there before, but I guess it is going down hill...we were the only ones on the lake, so at least it was quite......I was using leaches, Doc Spratley, a couple of dry fly patterns....the only one I had success with was a blood worm....Might be time to start hitting the rivers.
