Any word on when they plan to shut down retention of Sockeye for 2014 ? In 2010 I remember it being a week after labor day

today I saw hundreds jumping in Richmond , I was in that location for last 4 weeks almost every day , sometimes till 11pm ... today was the biggest jump day I saw ... I think they just start coming in big schools ...

Adams river run is making its way into the river now. Should be a solid few more weeks of fishing.That is if the DFO decides to keep the sockeye fishery open. Was out fishing yesterday caught our limit of sockeye and a spring.

Went out today from 10am to 1pm and only saw one sockeye landed on the bar I was on. It was BRUTALLY slow.

Yup, was one yesterday and another today. Plus Fraser FN commie fisheries being planned for this week and over the weekend.

I'm already done with the sockeye season.

Ordered 12 fish, delivered, receipt, 8$ a fish.

Gonna be a busy few days off brining and smoking.

Just picked up a new 5/6 reel, as well as a used 7/8 with excellent drag.
Bring on chum season.

Do you have contact info for that steal? Cuz I know folks at musqueam and commercial fisherman and nobody sells that low lol. Would love to get in on that.

My good buddy's dad is a commercial gill netter. I agree with ya tho, good luck finding a deal like that unless you're practically family.

He scared us with talks of selling his licenses. Hope he comes around.

Sorry no, he did a couple of us a good deed and I'm quite pleased.
