Author Topic: Float fishing for springs

I would like some info on the proper set up for float fishing on the vedder and other tributaries. If you can put in pictures that would be awesome. Thanks a lot.

Abe's fine thread is bumped up for easy reference.
there are various other ways including sliding floats. it largely depends on how deep of water you will be fishing and how deep you want to get as to whether you use a fixed float or sliding. there are multiple ways of rigging both. sorry I have no photos to help further . Abe's thread is a big start.

Try Google or youtube:

this is the best video I have found to demonstrate "short Floating":

Gear up appropriately for the size of the fish.
