Author Topic: Chinooks

Went out today to see if there are any chinooks at the mouth of the Campbell and nik today. NOT FISHING JUST LOOKING. And saw some jumpers has anybody got out and fished for them yet any tips for catching them when the rivers open?

Are you sure they were chinooks?

Pretty sure big chrome fish all around 15 lbs I'm guessing those are chinooks?

Well if they are just buy a variety of BIG spoons with a BIG rod and bomb it out there and eventualy you will get one.

Where is the Campbell I googled it but it runs me all over the place

Try googling "Little Campbell River", it's also mentioned in the Fisheries and Oceans regs.
