Author Topic: Fishing for rainbows in Osoyoos lake.
mcs

Every year between february and april, I try to get out and do some trout fishing on the North end of Osoyoos lake. Last year was slow, but previous years, my bud and I were pulling rainbows between 7 and 11 pounds! Our best luck was with a 2-3 inch, pink/silver apex...unbaited. We found the non bated worked alot better becuase the little kokanee wouldn't hit it. If you really want to get the big ones, look for kokanee spawning or "bubbling" on the surface. If you know any better techniques for gettin the biggies, or have any questions, please feel free to post!
