Went to Dease today, around 330, was into them for a while. It was crazy. My friend was into about 4, and managed to get one to hand. I got two. The water was glass calm, saw a wierd patch of "disturbed" water, moving up along the bank and cast just ahead of it. Two reel turns later I was into a 7 pound beauty. Of course, this was on a GOLD AND FIRE CROC!

Yeah, saw a bunch moving up too.

I guess i should specify the type of croc that we use. We have the most success on the 1/2oz and 5/8oz sizes. Make sure to pinch the barbs, and on the 5/8oz, put on a hook thats the same size as the 1/2oz. For some reason, the hook that comes on the 5/8oz is too big. Still a good amount of hits, but less hook ups with the hook that comes on the 5/8.

Hooked two landed one today at Deas with a little red spinner. Small hook does seem to be the thing.
