aug 30.2005 lower river. 7:ooam cast spoons had 2 on but they spit the hook. barely any fish moving through.
PS was there a commercial opening this morning cause it was dead slow for action.

Commercial opening?? For who?? Did you see the boats?? Theres nothing posted anywhere about any opening. Just because it was slow for you doesn't mean anything.

so you are catching them at low tide? maybe i should try then too...

only caught two pinks this year, both @ low tide, saw the most jumping @ low tide too

i fish both lowtide and incoming tides but at different places along the river. incoming is best around ladner and low around the alex fraser for me anyway. yeah Nobeeks, just wonderin man if there was an illegal commercial fishery happening that morning. saw a couple of FN boats but thats it.
