Limited yesterday. limited today, pink flies and a beadhead muddler minnow seemed to be doing the trick, nice clean fish for the most part.

Where are you flying for the pinks?
snoopy

Try anyplace clean water hits the fraser right from the Vedder canal to Spuzzum Cr. doesn't take much of an outflow the pinks follow the banks and will temporarly hold at any creekmouth.
NoBeeks

So if the pinks hold the banks, why are the beeks standing up to their necks in the scale bar pics??
FishFinder

yeah i dont get it, been out 5 days straight with 1 pink and people harping about how they keep limiting out, i dont believe it
snoopy

The scales bar is a joke 90% of the fish hooked there now are sockeyes it's a good place to go learn how not to fish. Don't bother bouncing for pinks they will bite, you can actually angle for them. There are more pinks swimming behind the fishermen at the scales bar than in front of them. Just take your trout rod, a few pink lures or a jig head and twister tail and fish. Revert to your childhood it's not a competition or a fashion show for chest waders it's suppose to be fun.

Went out last night after 5:00pm and between the two of us got into half a dozen Pinks. All fish caught on spoons. One sockeye also caught. Unfortunately all were released at side of boat unhandled.
It was amazing how many fish were going by!!
Fished below Derby Reach.
