well heading to the vedder this saturday. not sure whether to head up to the prison run early morning and work my way down to wilson, or start above the train bridge and work my way up to peach rd. its a toss up. am prepared with different coloured cures of roe even boiled up 2 colours of single eggs. colorado blades , rubber worms etc etc any suggestions. was up about a month ago complete skunking. so where do i start.

Welcome ,i'm fairly new here to and just wanted to say hi,and hope u get lucky on vedder ,sure wish i lived closer but hoping to go up there for a few days next week ,so catch some but leave a couple for me!

aloha. let us know how you did out there. some pics would be great, even if you don't catch anything.

thnx guys. will do, supposed to snow so should make for an interesting day. if i get some fish pics for sure

well was a cold snowy trip lost went just off lickman, lost 2 had the hole to myself for about an hour when i lost my last and the next thing i know there is a guy practicly running towards the hole and has to fish five feet from me when there is another 25+yds that the guy can fish. he tried so hard to push me out of my spot so i just kept casting onto his float and gave him the fuck off looks. why do people do this but anyways the water was a beautiful emerald green with a great clarity i had the 2 on with good old rubber worms. going to go back in a couple weeks so it should show more fish.

Its the same thing with salmon season, the fever kicks in and people start loosing their minds and all respect for themselves and others.

what i ran into during salmon season was people asking if i was going to leave so they could fish there id look at them and laugh not my fault i have the hot spot with the right gear and no im not leaving.

welcome to the site guys !!
I get a wee bit of a chuckle when i hear the gong show stories on the vedder..i coulnt even imagine trying to fish with all the people..its crazy there..
I find it crowded on my rivers if i see 3-4 others fishing..

good luck out there guys and hope to see some great pics soon
