Just got back from a weekend at Tunkwa Lake, the lake is very productive. Fly fishing using a micro maroon leech. Brown Chironomids started showing this morning. They get to be up to 2" long on this lake. I didn't believe it either untill this morning when I saw it myself. Good lake and the owners of the Tunkwa Lake lodge are good people also. Lots of advice of were and how to fish the lake. If you go up that way check out Lieghton Lake also 5 minute from Tunkwa. Bows in Tunkwa average 2-3 lbs. with lots getting up to 6 lbs. I landed 5 fish Saturday averaging 2 lbs.
The Yak
