Here's a couple of pics of my fishing on Lightning lake (Manning Park). Got lots of rainbow trout in no time. Beautiful place, productive lake and very few people around. See this picture.

The rainbows in the lakes in that area are all small but very plentiful. It a wonderful place to take the kids fishing as well as get some action on the dry fly.
I never have bad luck there..

Cool, im going there for the first time ever in 1 week. Im camping for 3 days and fishing. Your pics and report make it look promising. Cant wait.

Went to Lightning Lakr this weekend. Beutiful place, lots of small trout in this lake, unfortunatly I had forgoten to buy some bait so I was just using spinners ect... really sucked cuz those picky trout didnt want anything to do with my tastless flavourless gear lol, they were really into flies though. If you go up there bring flies or live bait for sure.

If you really want to get into some action hike over to Flash Lake, the next lake in the chain. The trout are larger and they attack flies at nearly every cast. Just find the hole... The rest of the lake is shallow.
