Which lake did you fish in? It was a nice bass you catch!
el-nino2010

hey fi-do. its called walmsley lake. its an old gravel pit converted to a lake and park. lots of kids come to fish the lake everyday. caught a bunch a few days back with a powerbait black leach on a jighead. after that went to mill lake and used the same lure and caught 2 rainbow from the dock just bouncing the bottom. works better than dew worms.

Thank you!
Do rainbows at mill lake take flies? My father works around there. He said he could give me a ride to there during summer.
Louis Vuitton

Hell yes they do!

Floating line, 9-10foot leader.
bead-head micro leaches (black with red flash), Prince Nymphs, half and full backs, '52 Buicks. Green and red spratleys, black ones too.

Yeah, its a good lake for flying in, but I'd suggest some sort of water craft if you plan to fly it. Theres not alot of backspace. Float tubes, pontoons, etc.
fi-do

Thank you so much.
How about spinner bait and spoon or even plugs?
Louis Vuitton

Spinner baits are way too big. Those things are used for bass and such, if you're planning on using them in Rolley. Spinners work though (they are different from spinner baits). Small Panther-Martins in varying colours, and I don't know about spoons. They might. Plugs are too big too, and just not that appealing to rainbows. That applies to the surace plugs (poppers). small small small crankbaits can work sometimes for the trout, but yeah, I don't waste my time. Flies look more natural to a trout, so i stick to them.

These were caught Yesterday at Vaseux Lake.
